When you are released on bond, the jail will give you a bond form which provides the court location, your court date, and appearance time.
It is important to check the bond form to make sure the address is correct because if the mailing address printed on the bond form is incorrect, you won’t receive all correspondence from the courts such as court notices.
This unfortunately can result in a missed court appearance, a failure to appear, and a bench warrant. You can correct your address at the first court appearance.
